Delete your Simply Being account

The teaching library works without a Sangha account. A Sangha account stores your display name and shared-session participation.

Delete in the app

  1. Open Practice together.
  2. Tap the person-removal button labelled Delete Sangha account.
  3. Read the confirmation and choose Delete account.

This removes your account, display name, memberships, reminders and sessions you host from the active service. Hosted sessions are removed for everyone. The action cannot be undone. Saved teachings, imported audio and listening history on your device remain available; removing the app clears its local data according to your device settings.

Request help online

Email an account-deletion request if you cannot access the app. We will verify control of the account before acting. Do not email your authorization token. Accounts have no email/password login, so a display name alone may not establish ownership.

Restricted recovery backups may contain earlier records for up to three years. They are kept for disaster recovery, are not available through the app, and expire under the backup retention schedule. See the privacy policy.
